Key Feautures

	Scan to folder Simply and quickly send paper documents to any network folder. Instantaneous document distribution. Eliminate manual filing and retrieval. Reduce or eliminate traditional mail delivery.		Scan to email Send a scanned document by email directly from your MFD. Access your company’s corporate Active Directory/LDAP address book. Simply select the addressee from your MFD’s full colour touch screen.
	Scan to FTP Send your documents directly to a central server via FTP. The user can be automatically sent an email indicating the directory where the document is stored. The user can also capture from any configured FTP.		Barcode recognition Aivika can automatically recognise document features such as barcodes. Tick boxes or other document content can also be recognised and documents can be routed accordingly for further processing or electronic archiving.
	OCR text recognition With the touch of a button get editable text from electronic image files or paper documents. Available OCR conversion formats include Microsoft® Word®, Excel® and Searchable PDF.		Format conversion Convert your documents into a number of electronic formats, such as; PDF, JPEG, TIFF, XML etc. Very small file sizes can be achieved, and key words/ meta-data can be added enabling easy document indexing and future retrieval.
	Scan to EDMS At just the touch of a button your documents are scanned and checked-in to the correct location in your EDMS, ERP or CRM system. Relevant meta-data can simply be added via the MFD’s touch screen. With Aivika you expand your Ricoh multifunctional device into a genuine high-performance interface to your document workflow.		Authentication The authentication functionality enables administrators to identify users and offer specific access rights and privileges to certain process templates and file-stores, based on their login credentials. Aivika can integrate into existing corporate Active Directory/ LDAP address books ensuring complete piece-of-mind and document security when capturing hardcopy.
	MyMFD With MyMFD you can customise the user information on the MFD’s touch screen with any visual icons or terminology used by your organisation. Now every employee can use Aivika tailored to your organis- ation’s specific requirements, making document capture even more intuitive.
